The seminar concluded that the MSMEs are the backbone of India’s economy and will be key to realizing the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.” By driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering inclusive growth, MSMEs can play a central role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In summary, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India are vital catalysts for economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction, in accordance with essential Sustainable Development Goals. Nevertheless, obstacles such as restricted financial access, infrastructural deficiencies, and skill shortages impede their complete potential. To attain the Sustainable Development Goals, micro, small, and medium enterprises necessitate enhanced policy support, technological access, and capacity-building programs. Promoting sustainable practices, financial inclusion, and collaboration can enable MSMEs to significantly contribute to a greener, inclusive economy. By focusing on these sectors, India can harness the transformative potential of MSMEs for enduring sustainable development.
